You Might be Unemployed if..

A humorous situation recently led me to put this list together.  I’m sure there are more items that could be added, but you get the hang of it…

• If you can recite the names of the top 10 job sites but forget your kids’ birthday – you might be unemployed.
• If going two blocks to the local gas station for a can of beer excites you, instead of going out on weekends – you might be unemployed.
• If you buy more than two reams of paper in a month to print off job information – you might be unemployed
• If you run to the phone when it rings, or keep it in your pocket so family members won’t answer it – you might be unemployed
• If you pace back and forth in front of your mailbox twice a month waiting for the mailman – you might be unemployed
• If you find yourself surfing the Internet for get rich quick advertisements before you have your morning coffee – you might be unemployed
• If you paid more this month for resume writing services than you paid for groceries – you might be unemployed
• If you have LaborReady’s phone number programmed into your cell phone – you might be unemployed
