Remember how you felt when your homework wasn’t done?

If you read the title to this and you are honest, you can remember back to grade school, high school, or college.  Remember how you felt when you walked toward class and 20 feet from the door remembered you forgot to do your homework and had an OS moment?  It was a sickening feeling.

Part of what I do is see what other bloggers are writing who are in the same situation I am.  Over the years at my jobs I have heard of stories of layoffs and how they were done.  Some of the worst I heard were “the meeting” where everyone was let know that they were let go.  When they got back to their desk and found all of their accounts locked out.  That would suck!

I can project my feelings into situations.  In one of my blog searches I came across the post from Greg at howigotlaidoff.com, and it made me feel sick for these people.  I’m sure you’ll feel the same.  The article is titled “Go back to your desk..if you get an email, you are laid off“.  Talk about a kick in the teeth!  You’ve got to read it!

There are other stories there too, but this one has got to win the “Rowan and Martin’s Laugh In” Fickle Finger of Fate!
